Every single day for the month of January I took intentional action with the intent of improving myself and growing my business. I committed to reading, meditating, exercising, and releasing a blog post and video every single day for 31 days. Here are the results and what I learned from the experience.
3 Lessons I Learned from Taking Purposeful Action for 31 Days.
You’ve likely heard it over and over that persistence, consistency, and good habits are the key to success. I totally agree. Whether you’re talking about your weight or physical fitness level, bank balance, or business revenue, what you did today has much less impact than the sum total of what you’ve done for the past weeks, months, and years. Some things you can only learn from experience. I totally get the need for the prep work. I’ve spent most of the past 4 years on the inner work of acknowledging and healing from abuse and neglect, addressing my emotional health needs and letting go of limiting beliefs. That work has been invaluable. But at some point I had to take those skills and test myself – get in the game and stretch my legs. Maybe you’re like me and have struggled to enjoy things in the past. Maybe, like me, you opted out of joy, desire, ambition, and strength in favor of depression, shame, anger, and frustration. Well let me tell you, learning to let business and living just feel good again has been worth the fight. And I truly believe it’s there for you too – as soon as you’re ready.
If any of these are things you struggle with and are ready to get past, please email me at email@example.com and we’ll set up a free strategy session to see if I can help you gain any clarity or insight as to what might work to put it behind you once and for all. This is what I do with my clients and I’m really good at it. If you’re worried that this is just a sales call, don’t. You’ll get my best effort for an hour or so and if it makes sense for us to work together we can discuss it, but I’m not attached to the outcome either way.
